Patagonia Travel Journal
The team at Rishi Tea and Botanicals is devoted to traveling to the most remote regions of the world to source and study tea and botanicals of rarefied quality and provenance. Traveling through this region we took almost every form of transportation to traverse this territory from airplanes to cars, and boats and ferries. Though many of the main roads are paved, when foraging for produce, dirt roads must be taken to lead to the dense forests sites. During our travels, we ate well, including wild Patagonian salmon, fresh eggs from chickens every morning, Chilean avocados, and maqui berry tea. Follow along as we journey through the Chilean Patagonia to capture assets and documentation of several botanicals including wild Maqui and Murta.
